I'm Luke Colombo.
I'm a problem solver who uses brand strategy and creativity to make an impact. Sometimes that's in the form of a great ad campaign; sometimes it's a new product design and launch; sometimes it's the complete transformation of a business model. But every time, it starts with understanding people, how they think, and why they act the way they do. My unique experiences have shaped the way I do just that:
As a Psychology major at Haverford College, I received a strong foundation in understanding why and how people think and act the way they do.
As a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, I saw firsthand the impact people's thinking has on their behaviors and decisions, while operating in the intimate context of people's personal finances.
As a graduate student at the VCU Brandcenter, studying brand management and strategy, I was introduced to the power of creativity and sound strategic thinking to affect the way that people think and behave.
As a Brand Strategy Intern at Translation, I learned to think bigger than the individual and saw just how impactful brands can be on a cultural level, while getting to work on the brand of my dreams (the NBA).
Outside of work, I'm a basketball junkie. I spend most of my free time playing, watching, and even drawing some of my favorite players from the beautiful game. I'm a die-hard NY Knicks fan who still somehow believes that they'll win a championship in my lifetime.
